Great dining. Hosted birthday party there. Excellent service, nice Shepherdstown venue.

Great food and a friendly atmosphere. My wife and I love it. It's our go-to place whenever we can steal a couple hours away from the kids. Sit at the bar and you're bound to find someone to talk to, or just chat with the bartender (Brian) who is great!

People with service animals should know that this restaurant doesn’t welcome them - they ‘tolerate’ them by law. That being said, our server was good, our food was good, the prices were on the higher side but worth the experience.

Great atmosphere, delicious food, complimented with friendly and professional staff. This place instantly became my favorite restaurant in Shepherdstown, WV. I highly recommend it.

Food and service was off the charts. Came in for 1 plate and the daily specials made me get something better. Had a lovely caprese but the butternut squash cannelloni was a great choice this Fally night.

Awesome upbeat atmosphere, but to not noisy, Great service, drinks were spot on, and the food was absolutely perfect, and well above our expectations. We will return soon for another date night. A true gem.

This is the best place in the area for fresh raw oysters, none better!!!

Excellent food in a quaint location. Daily specials and friendly staff. Would recommend the seafood stew for those with an appetite for shrimp, mussels and fish.

An inviting and cozy place in a special destination, if you visit Shepherdstown don't forget to come to this place, the wine and the food were really good, personally I enjoyed my dinner at the bar... couldn't get a table, so plan ahead and reserve a table.

Went for brunch, this restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and a small but varied menu. Would highly recommend the mussels and the smoked salmon pate, both were delicious.

My husband and I have eaten here many, many times. It's our favorite place to go. Everything on the menu is delicious. We have never had a bad experience. Ever.

Amazing! I did not expect the level of food we got from this place in a small town like Shepherdstown. Every item we ordered was fantastic. My lamb shank just fell off the bone. Our waiter was wonderful as well. If I ever come through here again this will be my first stop!

A snug restaurant with a hometown feel that produces excellent dishes time after time. Their experienced wait staff will educate you and answer all of your questions. Will never stop coming here

We came at a last minute of closing time, and they received us with open arms. Food and Service are 10 Stars!!! Extremely recommended!!!

This was recommended to us by someone that we met at a wine festival. The food was great and our server was very friendly. They don’t have high chairs, but they do have booster seats so keep that in mind if you have a little. It was surprisingly lively when we were there. It may have been due to a theater festival. Our table ordered the bluefish spread appetizer special, scallops, salmon, brownie dessert, and chocolate mousse type dessert. Everything was delicious!! Perfect sized portions and well priced. I would absolutely come back if we are back in the area again.

I have always enjoyed the fine dining experience that is going to the Press Room. With amazing dishes and friendly, professional staff, this is a must experience for anyone who likes to have a full dining out experience!

Shepherdstown's finest restaurant. Well designed bar area where you can have a meal while visiting with other customers ... and a larger separate dining room if you wish to be more formal. Seafood dishes and salads are exceptional. Slices of French baguette with olive oil and balsamic are a nice touch.Recommended.

The service and the food were both outstanding! I had the soft-shelled crabs. They were perfectly prepared. Absolutely put this gem on your itinerary when it you are in the Harper's Ferry area. You'll love it!

Excellent food, service and staff. My wife had made reservations for my 60th birthday and they truly made it very special. Special shout out to Deb and Ann. They are absolutely fantastic.

It was outstanding service was great and the people working there was great and spoke and took good care of everyone. The food was out of this world very fresh. The mix drinks are very good.

Had a delicious meal here which we had to get carry-out due to the COVID restrictions. I had my doubts about ordering a fancy meal to go, but the Press Room came through for us. Everything was perfectly packaged up and, once we had the chance to sit down and eat, it all proved be outstandingly delicious. My wife ordered a hanger steak cooked medium-well, which a lot of places will overcook. The Press Room did it perfectly -- cooked through but still juicy & tender. My red snapper was likewise cooked to perfection. Bravo!

Food is good although a limited selection. Service was good. Street parking only which can be a pain. A bit overpriced.
